Painting a cabinet 101 - 101 Painting furniture has

Since we have big plans to paint in our office - notament tables - we decided to do a test with a wooden cabinet which had been salvaged for free in Portland. Very basic furniture, so even if one plant, the loss will not be too serious. By searching our garage, we found the black paint and a brush - perfect to start!

Since We Have paint big projects in our Home Office - the desk - we Decided to try out painting skills With o a small wood furniture we got for free in Portland. Basic furniture, which means that we can make mistake, it's Ok! By looking up in our garage, we even found black paint and a brush - we are good to go!

I am responsible for this task. Paint looks good, not dry even though it looks like it has been in the garage for ages. I get started and decided to paint all sides except for one that I will do tomorrow. This furniture is really nice - we can assemble and one-assembles it very handily.

The painting lesson will arrive the next day I put my plates on newspapers for applying paint, and I'd say "no problem if I overflowing because there are the newspapers below. Nay ... the painting that served overflowing with glue and newspaper space under the boards have glue on the boards .... the next day, which is itchy to remove pieces of newspaper on the side untouched ?

The f i rst paint lesson Will Come The Day After: I had put it newspaper The Sides to Protect the floor. I paint very generously and didn't bother to not jut out of The Sides. Well .... the paint ACTED like glue On The Other Side (The One That stills Needed paint) and The Newspaper Got To The glue wood piece. Guess Who is going to scratch The Mess?

Lesson number two: do not forget to wash the brush at the end of the session ... painting the next day, otherwise it will be all hard and impossible to use. I think I vaguely remember my kindergarten teacher had already taught this ... but I forget the way .... the proof in pictures:

Lesson number two: do not f orget to clean The brush after Being Done With painting. OTHERWISE, The Next Day, The Will Be brush unusable. I think I remember my kindergarten teacher Cdn Giving me this advice a long long time ago. Oh well.

Any proud, they these are beautiful boards repainted:

Very Proud of my brand new wood pieces:

after lesson number 1 (see above), which is me myself glue:
